The Point Of Origin
Description: I sincerely hope no one is getting tired of these symmetrical images I love doing. I honestly think this type of abstract would look really good hanging on a wall. I find this latest style quite pleasing. :-)

All comments welcome.

Thanks Horo!!!!

This latest series uses a rainbow gradient radial light centered on the Y axis. I like the color symmetry it creates. It vastly superior to my previous work. :-)

I'm not tired, I'm just at a loss what to say about them. They are pleasing on the eye, but mostly beyond critical comment.

Thanks David!!!

I know what you mean. I think that's why I love them so much. They're, as my generation used to say in the 70s, FAR OUT!!!!! ;-)

Well spektyr, I wouldn't say it's vastly superior to your previous work. It is different. Getting a "better" setup does not automatically make your previous work less great. Change is life.

Horo-

Well put! :-)

I'm just more satisfied with the effects of the single rainbow gradient radial light over the 4 color spotlight ring.

I wonder when you sleep as you seem to just keep cranking out great work one right after the other. I like the crispness or sharpness of the edges and the vividness of the colors.

Thanks Render Man!!!

I do sleep every night. It only takes a couple of hours or less to set up these images, most of it spent tweaking object shapes, material settings and the camera/light positions. Rendering usually takes no more than an hour on my network now that I've stopped using Tile Optimization altogether. Even a 4000x4000 copy usually takes less than 8 hours.

What I do is sort of like digital sculpting I guess. I make adjustments in order to uncover the images hidden within a configuration. I never know what I'm going to end up with when I start. It's like an adventure and that's the part of the process I really like. ;-)
