Changed the shader reflection and color remembered to turn on the global lighting and added a new platform material. There is still on radial behind the eagle. Also added the special light effect. This does have some ambient light as I have not done to much testing at this point without it.
It does seem somehow improved, perhaps the positioning of the lights. The special light effect is very interesting and I must know more about that.
The animals are a really nice edition to this image.
The car needs perhaps to have the ambient glow modified greatly or indeed removed. But then comes the issue of the glass base. It looks really cool. This is a Carrara special talent Bryce does not have in the way the optics are handled in the render. Likely you used the absorption option. Anyhow, the ambient glow might be working to your advantage for the glass but I am too green with Carrara to know for sure what I am talking about.

Agreed, somehow improved. But I have to know what the artistis is after, here. The sun rays are a nice addition - wether it was a good idea to have them in rainbow colours is a matter the artist has to decide.
To relativate my ranting on the previous incarnation, I have to add that the best program is the one you know how to make it produce what you're up to.

Good question Horo and my answer would be just a great looking car with some great lighting affects. It certainly was not realism.
I wanted to see if I could make a nice shiny car were you could see the details on the fenders. Also wanted to see what this car would look like in Carrara as i have been struggling with it in Bryce and needed a break.
I have two things I need to get back to in Bryce first the Sedan with indoor lighting and then the horse picture using the suggestions that I was given. If anyone wants to try the Sedan with indoor lighting I would not be offeneded. But if you get a good rendered scene I would like to know how you did it. IF you are a platinum member at Daz the car is $1.99 if the price has not changed. Or for that matter any car you might have on hand would serve that task at hand just as well.
I am not saying that my render in Carrara represents the best that could be done as I think this car could be very much improved by a more seasoned user. Even now I can see some adjustments that could improve this scene. Fri st thing would to kill the ambient lighting.
It was a great experiment to at least see that there are great possibilities with Carrara just as with Bryce if a person learns all the tricks.
