Space Scene
Description: This is a new model of the Titan, added some more detail to it even though you can not tell from this picture. The background is all photoshop. It is the same planet as the last picture but with a different filter on it. There are stars in this picture it is just a little hard to see some of them. There are three lens flares, 2 layers with the planet on it, 2 layers with the 'add noise' for stars and a Hubble photo for the blue stars under the lens flare. The planet has an outer glow and an inner glow, both redish orange. I re did the lighting for the Titan with one of the photoshop filters. Hope you all enjoy it. Comments are welcome.

Connor, this piece is very interesting and well done. The planet looks amazing like something out of a high budget movie. Even the clouds on that planet are amzingly detailed and 3d. The colors are incredible. The stars in the background are too densly populated and do not vary in brightness and size quite enough to example the vast distances of outer space. It comes off like a noise filter and I am not sure if that is what you intend. 5/5

I like the way the red colors are used in this scene and the ship is out of this world.

Thanks for all of the positive comments. rashadcarter1 I agree with you about the stars. My friend who also uses photoshop showed me how to make better stars and I am in the process of improving the picture now. Again thanks to everyone.

Atmospheric space image, I'm not too bothered about the noise/star confusion, I think it works. The planet looks fantastic, and the lighting on the ship is very suitable, being just enough to make it visible bot not enough to spoil the illusion of space. My only issue is the lens flair. I like the effect and it suits this piece, don't get me wrong, but it does not strike me as being in the right place, I would have expected it to be at more of an angle to corispond with the sun just peeping out from behind the planet as it is it seems to be comming from somewhere off screen left. Maybe that is just me, since no one else seems to have found anything wrong with that, I wouldn't worry! 5/5

Yes, only 1 lens flare is advisable here. I too, like David, think that the flare's lens reflections are off a bit. Carefull there. The color composition I like very much, impressive red giant, it is quite dramatic with all the reddish nuances. I brightened-up my monitor in order to see the noise (stars), your image is darker then expected. Nevertheless, a beautiful image, Connor.
