Abstract Blue
Description: I was impressed with some of the abstracts so I thought I would give it a try in Bryce. This only light source is the sun.

Interesting. Nice colours. I'm not sure whether I should like it or not. I'm a bit uneasy but this is most probably due to my (deranged) imagination seeing indestines ... From a technical point of view, this is an extraordinary piece and I wonder how you went about it to get such a result. The colours ARE pleasing.

Indestines Ha. Instead of a deranged imagination I for sure you would see something in this abstract like a face or some creature. I made five infinite planes and placed one on the bottom two on the sides and then two more at the the left and right sides at that top at angel to make almost a pentagon which looked like a tunnel. Each plane had the mirror material added The sun was at the opposite end from the camera at the end of the tunnel. Then I placed a cloud plane in the middle which stretched across the sides of the tunnel and added a material that has some transparency and then used the rotate tool in Edit mode and keep turning the cloud plane which created some very different effects.

Adrian I was glad you like it thanks for you comment.

Interesting approach, not what I would have anticipated, I thought I was looking into procedural bumps in a glass like materal rather than reflections. The overall effect is easy on the eye, but lacking in too lacking in focus to appeal aristically to me. Like Horo I experianced something of the intestineal impression when I looked at this initally, dispite the predominant blue colour. That also I found slightly offputting at first. The colours however, are very nice.
