I do not know what is going on here. From a technical standpoint I am very interested in the scenario. The water looks incredible, very realisitic like a photograph. It seems like it might be low in transparency but somehow it works nicely here. I think the lighting is excellent. Looks like IBL or a light dome. Very nice piece of technical wizardry. Hope to see more from you!

The water does indeed look very good. The subject is rather curious, not that that is a bad thing, it makes for an interesting piece. HDR used as a background?

Thank you for the kind words.

The objects are two industrial vaccum cleaners, no hoses or nozzles, and one trash can located in the masonry with a stainless steel cover on top. These do exist at carwashes, only not so nice looking. Usually the trash can is overflowing with empty beer cans and trash.

HDR was used to light the scene with another spot to highlight.

As stated above, the water with its waves and transparency/reflection values looks very successful, the idea for the setup itself is also a very original one (it's good to have the title). I just don't fully understand, looking at the models, what is actually happening in this picture, I think there might be somethign missing.. more geometry, more objects to help the viewer justify the scale, the origin and the purpose of what's been rendered.

The simplicity of the scene is the most interesting part. Very often less is more. What is hidden beneath the waters surface? Hmm...makes you wonder, and that's the point.
