Primeval Soup
Description:	This is an abstract scene set inside a volumetric texture. The inspiration is the dawn of life on Earth, when the first microbes emerged from the Primeval soup. It took 24 hours to render at this size, but it is very detailed and actually designed to be rendered and printed at a much larger size i.e., 4 feet tall.

Well worth the wait.

Salvador Daliesque? Yes those volume textures can be painfully slow. I like the tall and thin format - I think I might give that a go. Good work.

did I say 24 hours?

I say it took 24 hours to render but actually it was about 3 months to create the scene - setting the entire scene within a volumetric texture did upset Bryce considerably, i.e., caused lots of computer crashes. I think the problems occurred when the volumetric texture passes through a transparent and reflective material.
