Description: I took the Perfectville scenarios and made an hdri out of them. The blurring needs work, I will improve on that in the fufure. The image provides the ambient light, a single radial employed as the sun. No soft shadows or other tricks. the hair is what takes forever to render, otherwise it is very fast. Feedback please

Excellent pose of the two lass, pity the hands do not hold the paperbag. The light however, is amazing! Yes, the blurring of the background needs some attention - currently it looks a bit like motion blur, particularly the leaves at left. Hey Rashad, this one has the potential for a great photorealistic picture.

Good picture, always difficult to get these 'posers' look natural.
Left one looks a bit like Carmela Soprano!

Thanks Horo and Adrian. I might work on this one a bit more. The hands really do need to grasp the bags. I also need to figure out a way to get some specualrity on the shaded side of the women. There is nothing but ibl light on that side and there is no shine to the skin because of it. The geometry of the meshes of the blue top and the pink top are annoying, I may have to smooth the meshes in Maya or something, but I would hope I might sneaklily position some secondary lights to fix it while providing specualrity.

Horo, the assistance you gave me when working on the Perfectville series has been most useful. I think that the background looks very much of a photo because of the advice you gave me regarding the proportional intensites of the sunlight and skylight. I used the greyscale hdri because I did not want to labor the scene with too much mood. It serves well when the image is recycled as an hdri.

You have done very well in my opinion bringing out the expressions of these two ladies having a good conversation. I wonder what they purchased and who are they talking about?

Was this one of you skin textures?

What caused smeared appearance on the right sides of the figures. At first I thought it was shadows but not sure.

Are these ladies from Daz or Poser? I have poser but have not used it much.

the blurred hdri kind of helps it gives motion to the women, without women having any motion. I would place the women's hands on the left down away from camera to enhance that motion feel even more. The lighting from the hdri and sun is very good. The only problem is the skin, but that is out of my field, if this was blender I would just turn on SSS and call it good :)

That's a real good idea of gat: introduce some real motion blur, it can be done in HDRShop.

These suggestions sound good. I got lucky with this one in that motion blurring the background makes my job alot easier than motion blurring the characters. I will see what I can do as a deliberate motion blur. The red tones to the brick get along well with the skin. I think the background might be a smidgeon too bright. Thanks.
