Trees
Description: Essentially the same landscape as ?Cabin?; it shows the opposite shore of the lake. I found this nice meadow and populated it with trees made in Dryad (informations about the freeware Dryad tree generator under Raytracing > Tools on my website). I also added a background terrain and haze to have at least a background complementing the middleground. The sun needed a radial because it shone too weakly through the added haze. The HDRI-Effect of the HDRI was reduced accordingly to 50 and the shadows increased to 90%. Rendered premium with soft shadows but only 4 rays like the ?Cabin? one, but the render time nearly trippled. I did this mainly to show you the Dryad trees (all six are the same tree).

Looks amazing. Every detail fits. I particularly like the sky and the haze. That water is flawless, top knotch. Would you be willing to post it? I thought I read that you merely changed the color of one of the channels from greenish to grey, but whatever you did it works very well.

Thanks for the example of these trees. I will check that out and download it immediately. They look good from this distance. Clever integration of your artistic symbol. 5/5!

I really like this material you used for the terrains. The water looks very nice and the boat gives it the finishing touch. Very good scene.

Excellent materials, everywhere! The sky and the distant peaks look very well. Does this new tree-tool of yours have a randomization functions? It's just the trees look too much of a copies of one another right now.
With a different sun position, say sunset maybe, and printed with high points per inch res this could turn into a fine post-card. A beautiful image!
