Description:	I got a new computer! Finally. The new system runs on 2x Intel Xeon quadcore processors. Having 8 processing cores makes a big difference. I have been amazed at the speed difference. Renders that used to take weeks take less than a day now. I'm so excited!! This is a quick side to side of the different light levels I have been experimenting with recently. The left column features the previous generation and the right column is the present generation. To avoid clutter all previous versions have been removed from the gallery. Finding a convincing ratio of brightness between the direct sunlight and the indirect skylight has been my goal. The left side has strong skylight in comparison to the brightness of the sun. The right column features much deeper shadows and contrast. Feedback on the left column suggested the skylight was too bright and that much deeper shadows were needed. Feedback welcome. Thanks all.

I'm a bit envious, I must confess. I could do with 6 more processors, too. However - the new right column looks photographically more correct with the strong contrast. This is certainly so for the upper and the middle one. For the lower, too, but we would probably perceive that time of day somewhere in the middle of the left and right lower example. On the whole, though, the pictures on the right column appear more natural to me.

I have to say bottom right images works best. The shadows hides fine lines that pop up more than they should.

Thanks Horo, thanks Fox. Naturally, the shadows that pop up are due to the ibl resolution. I used a mere 64 lights compared the the 4096 possible. At higher light settings those shadows disappear. I was just too impatient to wait it out because I wanted to submit all three renders.

Now, I think the on on the b. right looks the most realistic. nice work!
