Excellent work. The texture on the wall is a preset. The dte can be challenging at first so it is not at all bad that you use presets for now. The water looks great.

My personal opinion is that you may need to give us some references for the light in the scene. Clearly there are lightsourses that within the light lab have been made invisible, That's fine, but I think that we still need a torch or something to explain the light in the cave, as in reality light always comes from somewhere. Perhaps a torch, hanging from the walls with the invisible lightsource mesh hidden inside a ploom of fire (David has excellent fire materials on the material exchange page of this website) would make perfect sense. The light might then need to be slightly orange tinted to match the color of the fire.

Really nice work,. It is refreshing to see such renders from a new brycer!!!

This is a nice cave and what I like most is the ceiling which appears as if the cave were once completely flooded by running water. The water level came down and from the landscape above the cave, water seeps in and creats that chalk "dropplets". We have a cave just a few miles west which has a very similar ceiling.

As for the material applied to the walls, it could certainly be improved upon but it is a good start. The invisible light, as Rashad mentions, might be hidden behind an outcrop on the ceiling. However, such caves are usually lit by many spot lights and using such would make look your scene more real.

This is all meant to help you improve. Considering that you are a new "brycer", you've certainly done an excellent job!
