Nice ring, nice diamonds. IBL lit, I take it from the reflections on the ring and the shadow banding. I think the diamonds ought to be a bit more transparent, but I'm not sure, I don't own such jewels.

Looks awesome. Diamonds are a sure challenge. I think the models for the diamonds are very cool. Might you be willing to share them? The settings as far as transparency and refraction can take alot of testing, add in the ibl issues of slowness when rendering transparency, it becomes very difficult to get the settings to be perfect. Test out higher tir settings in the render options, also the ray depth.

The final clue for diamonds is to fake the prismatic splitting of light that occurs with diamonds and the like. I have not mastered it yet but I have tested usung an image of a thin band or two of rainboew colors set on a white background and then applied to the specularity and transparent color channels. The results have been decent along with the "caustic" transferrence of theos ecolors onto the table the diamonds are sitting on. It's worth a try!

The gold for me may be too reflective? Perhaps a tab bit too green and not quite enough toward the orange hues for maximum gold reference. Gold should not bo too orange, but not too green either for my tastes, but indeed is is a subjective science as many alloy combinations can be imagined.

I can only echo what has been said above and point out the diamond on the right appears to be doing an impossible balancing act, although that may just be a trick of the reflection that gives me that impression.
