Lips
Description: The mirrors are not where you think they are. The camera is inside a simple flat/appartment with an L-shaped corridor and two rooms with windows and doors, all made with one terrain. Viktoria 3 is from DAZ3D, of course, and there is a torus, four cylinders (with Richter's Haematite made more reflective) and a mirror ball. The flat is lit by nine radials near the ceiling and the ?Sixties? HDRI I made for David some time ago. The light probe shines mainly through the windows and the doorways, the is a tiny bit of transparency going on. Shadows are set to 80; rendered with quality 16, intensity 10 and effect 65. With the HDRI is rendered as background, it took 6 hours to render on my dual core.

Very cool!

I love it! Very well done Horo. The lighting is spectacular and the materials you used for the glass walls is incredible. You get my vote 5/5.

Yes, abstract art, cold glass/metal appearance. This is indeed a job-well-done, Horo. Nice to see my mat still in use. My main points of interest are the left&right sides of the image. The harsh look of the bump gives the strange, unwelcoming feeling that something's about to happen there, but what - it is still unknown. Now I'm wondering if it would have been a good idea to make Vicky's eyes also cold and reflective. But in such case the "human" presence will be entirely off the pic. What were you after, Horo? Whatever the case, I like what I see. Good job.

Strange goings on. The light makes the objects in the scene look realistic making the contrast of the wibbly mirrors even more striking. The way the mirrors appear to fade away as they approach the ground is excellent, the edges are very well hidden. The head looks like a manikins, no life to it. But that does not matter. All very strange.

Thank you all so much for your kind comments. As for your question, richter, what I were after: something completely different. I let myself being carred away from what's happening with my pictures when I work on them. There are few I ever followed through to what was on my mind. David told me several times that I ought to stick to what I'm up to, and he's perfectly right. However, I enjoy to drift with what happens to my render work because my job demands to be absolutely straight and technical all the time and I see Brycework as a compensation. Nevertheless, I've embarked on something where I do stick to it. It is fun, too.
