Rainbow Dimensions 8c
Description: I think an animation of this experiment would be most impressive, don't you? ;-)

I'll give my systems the night off and play with it tomorrow.

All comments welcome.

Though it is fascinating, I think there is too much detail for so many colours. Nice work nevertheless. Nice detail those twin small bright dots at the right edge in the middle. There are none of them visible on the left side.

I like the detail and the color. Seems fine to me. I think this one looks like it could be a real object, perhaps a piece of artfully cut stained glass or something. Nice work!

This looks like glass, very interesting design. Same is for the other two, they all seem to be similar other then by color.

Thank you all!

Horo- You have good attention to detail. I'd hadn't noticed the dots. That has to be from the imperfect bump map alignment on the target sphere. It would take me forever to get it perfect and it's close enough as it is.

Rashad-
I'm impressed at the realism of all three. They have that glassy look I love and the pattern looks raised. My trademark (I may as well call it trademark since I've yet to see anyone else do it this way) color blending worked really well too. ;-)

Gat-
These were all made with the same setup save for the position of the target sphere. The bump map is applied to that and reflected by a cone. The result is a flat plane look with a raised pattern. I'm planning an animation with this one but I have to give my systems a rest and contemplate motion parameters. I want this one to look super far out. LOL

To me this seems the most 3D of the group. Very busy as already remarked upon, but I don't mind that. Reminds me of a boss and part of a vaulted ceiling - but a glass one.

Thank you again Tina and David!

Tina-
That's it! When I'm up on stage accepting my first art award you're #1 on my list of people to thank. ;-)

David-
Hmmm. Maybe the glass dome of a temple in Heaven perhaps? I'll lie there looking up at it while the rainbow colors slowly rotate. ;-)
Oh and you're on the 'Thank You' list too, along with the rest of my friends here. No one gets left out. ;-)
[Delusions.....No. Make that Dreams...of fame slowly drift through Spek's mind......] ;-)
