Mysterious 11 Animation 1
Description: This one took almost 19 hours to render. It's at 300x240 Divx set at 720p compression so the file is about 6.5 meg. it runs 15 seconds at 20fps so it's pretty smooth. I had the sphere rotating towards the camera as you'll see. There are times when the 'floor' opens and gives a good feeling of depth.

spektry you should seriously consider contacting windows media player people, or IMAC to have them pay you to make this things. They look very cool when listening to music, or on an ipod, and anywhere else where there is a need for cool graphics. Get what am saying? Also, you should make a page at deviant art. My deviant art name is gat-art

This is a cool one. There is a lot of 3D-ishness going on. Perhaps a bit dark at times but I guess it would be all right if it were larger. Heed gat, he's got a point here.

It's confirmed. The world's full of COPYCATS!!!!!

I just signed up at Deviant Art. I had to make my user name Spektyr-Graphics because some mook already used spektyr. It was the same way at ArtZone. I started using that name so far back when most people didn't even know there was an internet and now look at it. They see a name that looks cool and they copy it. It's said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. What a load!

Well. Now that I've gotten that off my chest I want, as always, to thank you both for the compliments. So you think my work would make good visualizations? Hmmm. It's a thought worth considering. It also starts my exceptionally large mind drifting towards the Whatwouldlookseriouslycool Zone. ;-)

If you liked this one you'll love the one I'm doing now. This one should have an even better 3D look and I'm cycling the color throughout the whole thing. It's at 400x300 with a duration of 20 seconds at 20fps. The render speed looks pretty good so I'm hoping to post it some time tomorrow evening.

I like the impresison of space within this image, like being in colorfil filled plant cell perhaps. All these animations, your processor must be nearly melting. Be aware, I've killed a few power supplies and mother boards with rendering 24/7. Make sure you have adiquate cooling!

Thanks David!

I hope I don't kill my systems. I go in and clean the processor fans and heat sinks once in a while and the systems are right in front of an air conditioner that I keep on 24/7. One of the reasons I don't want to make these animations too large or too long is so I can give the systems a breather after each render. I really wish I could afford a really fast blade center I could use as a render farm. That would cut render times drastically and allow me to do longer durations at 720p resolution for DVD.
