Chanda Lava
Description: Planet made from scratch a few weeks ago in Mojoworld 2.0. This is only the 2nd planet I've made public. I got back into doing Mojoworld renders after buying dual 19" widescreen LCD monitors. I had never seen anyone use the glow channel for materials in MW so I thought I'd try my hand at making lava. I think it worked fairly well. TFV.

You bet it worked! How far above the planet surface is this shot taken? I had the chance to work a bit with Mojoworld, but never paid too much attention to that software because of other projects. Nice planet addition in the sky. That's the thing I always liked about MW. I see there's a starfiled also, but I don't remember if its glow intensity could be changed. The image is fairly dark, so a bit more pronounced stars would have been nice. Anyway - very good one, Krickerd!

MW

Mojoworld - Pandromeda
Also there is a community at 3DCommune.com and Renderosity.com
The company's future is in doubt. If they are in trouble no doubt someone will pick it up. The product has incredible potential.

Not only is the lava excellent but the image is a very well chosen showcase for it. I can almost feel the searing heat from that lava, the dim red nebula cloud and the sliver phase of the background planets really fit well. The overall effect is the feeling of a dark forbidding hellish world that I would probably name Hades.

Very well done indeed! 5/5
