Return of the Burning Legion
Description:	Bryce 5.5. My tribute to Warcraft III ( I don't play World Of Warcraft - I'm not an onliner and who has time? I don't have time for 3D art anymore as it is). If you know the storyline, the burning man in the back represents an Infernal. I used Michael 2 (or was it 3?), duplicated him and made the rock mat for one and the fire for the other. I cloned parts of the grass fire (which is a bryce preset BTW) and painted it manually in PI. I tried to blur some of the background on the left to represent heat waves - don't know if that turned out too well. I wish Nybras' hands reaching toward the camera stood out more. I could not get the lighting right to accomplish this. Other than that I'm fairly pleased with it.

I remeber this one from your first round of entries. Love it! I think David's fire might have been a nice addition. Hellish, hot, scary, complex, and magical. Excellent work! 5/5!

I really like how the grass looks like inside those flames. The trees in the background are very good positioned and fill appropriately the background. There's a slight blurring where the stone column is, which is nice too, because this blurring can reproduce the hot air above the burning grounds. I like this image!

I like their pets. What are their names? Snuggles and Cuddles? I think I have some Milkbones around here I can toss to them. ;-)

The scene is good. I here you about trying to simulate heat waves in the air. It's sounds like a real nightmare to get right. I really like those shooting stars. I was trying to get a convincing ray pattern a while back but I was never satisfied. You did a good job here.

I'll give this a 5/5 for very creative work. :-)

A good scene, I'd be tempted to experiment with the lighting in this to try and get it a little less even. The flames themselves seem a little washed out and insubstantial. Then again, fire is very tricky, so it is easy to be critical. 4/5
