Rainbow Chaos 3
Description: I really didn't know what to name this. I'm posting it just to tease your brains, get you asking the age old question, "How in the Umpteen Galaxies did he do this?" ;-)

And, like the last few I did, the color pallet it generated is utterly astounding.

Reminds me of vegetation, probably because of the green.

Dude! Its kinda like looking at clouds. If you look long enough, you can see a guy in the bumps.

Check it out! I've created a hi-tech rorschach
test. LOL

I can see what could be a small face just right of center about 1/4 of the way up from the bottom. It has an almost tortured expression with it's mouth wide open in what could be a scream.....or maybe it's a laugh. It also doesn't appear to have any eyes. LOL

I can see other things too but like down the center line of 'Golden Infinity' they're pretty abstract.

It's interesting what the imagination can find in an abstract image.

I always see "things" in abstract pictures. The face mentioned looks a bit like Gandalf fighting the balrog.

Gandolf? Ok. If I look at a larger area around the original spot I saw the bigger image could be gandolf-like. LOL

I was going to post another of these but I think I'll leave it with this one.

This was generated with a mirrorbox composed of 4 intersecting metaballs placed at ramdom positions to each other and my rainbow light ring. I played around for a while and chose this orentation because of that area that looks like a hole that is sucking all the colors in. I was really taken by the striation effect that resulted from this configuration, the randomness of form and, as always, the myriad shades of color blending.

I'm starting to ask myself "What am I going to come up with next?" ;-)

Very curious effect with the mirrored meta-balls, I think I would have expected smoother transitions, but I guess what we are seeing it the result of their calculated geometry and gurrard smoothed reflection? Keep experimenting!

The more I look at this the more I see. I see an even larger face, this one with a tongue, and something that reminds me of the beings from "Abyss".

If I made this more complex with a higher RD setting I wonder what else would show up. Like I said, Hi-Tec Rorschach. LOL

Well I found another one I love. These are awesome. You need to teach me how to start on a project like this. I would love to learn. Another 5 for sure. Great work Spektyr!

Thank you again Tina.

I think the best way to teach you from a distance would be to send you a setup file with an explanation of the basic concepts and experimentation techniques. It's really not all that complicated, at least not for me. It just takes a lot of playing to come up with an image I feel good about.

It's a shame we don't live close to each other. It would be easiest if we both sat in front of a computer so I could take you through it step by step. I'll have to try and compose it all in a text file and sent it zipped with the setup file. I need to know what version of Bryce you're using.

I use both 5 and 6.1 versions. Mostly 6.1 though. I would really appreciate your assistance in any way. Thankyou : )
