That model is really something else! I'd love to examine it closely from all sides.

I agree with Jesuis' question. Was this done completely with Bryce or was there other software involved?

5/5

Impressive!

Once again a beautiful modeling and texturing work! The idea itself is very original. The undersea greenish gamma brings a lot to the environment, though I'm still wondering if this image is under or above the sea surface. Cinema 4D is one of the most powerful tools for 3D creation and this image here shows that you can handle the moding swiftly. Top marks.

Excellent work. Superb conceptually and well followed through. Makes me proud. Did you use premium AA? I feel it was all done in bryce, perhaps a contrast adjustment and gamma, but nothing overly affecting. Great lighting, with multiple lightsource directions, a big part of faking the GI is done. The ship material is slightly reflective, another great tool for faking radiosity.

I think that the fact that we cannot tell what medium we are in might be a slight diatraction. I think we are in the air, as I do not feel any distorting effects of water in between the viewer and the scene, yet, the "sky" looks alot like liquid so maybe it's underwater? I wonder what might be dome to make the underwater impression more clear. Perhaps a piese ov coral or aquatic vegetation would clarify the setting. 5/5 Impressive once again!! Brilliant!

What software did you use to make the model?

The ambivalence of air and underwater is part of the charm of this picture. The sky and propulsion from the craft suggest air, colour and hooks suggest water. We stay long watching this picture and ponder over it.

I just had the image of robotic worms on those hooks flash into my head. That would be a cool addition to this image. ;-)

Cinematic, highly polished, hard to find fault - in fact - it would be churlish to do so. 5/5 I think we are underwater...
