Waiting For a Ride
Description: Wheels were done in wings 3d.
I used IBL, 3 radials and one spot.

I am still learning Bryce and 3d modeling, guess you never stop learning.

You can soften the edges of the bright spotlight in the light lab at the top left of the screen.

This looks really good to me. The wall texture is outstanding. The reflection on the wheels look great. It looks very realistic and almost like a true photo. Great Job!

Good job on texturing. The light is a little too bright. It seems as if you're going for a washed out, urban look. I think it would be good if you deleted the light, and used a postwork program such as paint shop pro or photoshop, and boosted contrast a lot to give it that washed out look. But feel free to play around with bryce lighting too.

I think the lighting is great, its as if they are in the sun, the only thing is that that you should have used a square light instead for that bright one. Nice models too!
5/5

Excellent texture on the wall, beautiful models. Though I like the burned-out light in the foreground, an angular shape instead of a round one could have suggested an open door behind the camera. This is another 5/5.

First of all, your image printed will look 120% like a photo exactly because of this white-burning spotlight in front. Sometimes the sun at noon shines so strong that the lit parts of a bright enough object, seems hard to define (as is with the ground here). As suggested, you can soften a bit the edges of the spotlight. The wall and the ground textures are just great. The only thing missing is the bump channel. With a proper bumpmap settings this image will show no signs of made in 3D rather then a real photograph. I think those rims are a bit too shiny though. Maybe if you use David's Polished Iron mat or the Frosted mirror mat found in the mat-exchange section, with ballanced reflection and bump values, things could evolve further. As a whole I like the "Waiting for a ride" very much!

Very natural looking still live piece, the lighting is excellent, the material look convincing, the wheel rims are maybe a little too shiny to be true, but otherwise, I can't see any serious issues. 5/5
