Ok, the models are shiny and new. I prefer the lighting of the Bryce variant but it looks quite natural here, too. I'd like to see that corner a bit brighter to see what habbens with the shadows.

I like it. They are new but this is more convincing to me because it is much more "interactive."

I like this render much better in Carrara, to me the darker corner means more realism as corners receive less light.
But for real Dave you have got to try using indigo 0.9 test4 Its the best render engine for scenes like this.
