Early Snowfall on the Prarie
Description: I finally finished my entry for the Nebraska seasons contest. I decided to focus on one season instead of all four, and used a blend of the winter, fall scenes to create this. Postwork in photoshop, everything else done in Bryce 5.

It looks really good, I think you will win this contest. The only thing I am not sure about is the blur down the middle and randomly in other places. 5/5

Very very good. The left side is less saturated than the right side, and lit somewhat differently too. I'm not sure why but I think the effect works. It looks alot like a real photograph. 5/5

I do like it. Whether you win with it or not, I cannot predict. As far as my taste is concerned, it is not always the best that wins. But then, participating is the essential thing.

I too like this image. Blurs and all. The shift in contast acorss the scene between light and dark, sharp and blurred and complex and open is very pleaseing to the eye as is it's almost mochromatic pallette. Good luck with the competition!

Yup, very good work, no doubt! The blur is working well, objects seen through a blizzard often appear slightly blurred. The lonely tree in the back raises the feeling of cold and unwelcoming winter, the sky is nice and the sepia-overall color is an excellent choice for final production here. Good luck there, for the Nebraska contest.
If I have to be critical, I'll say that the grass' most lowest parts have to be more "wrapped" in snow (additional terran patches?), not just pulled out. The blur in front compensates a bit, but the grass strokes in the far middle look like they've been drawn in postwork. Of course this is a minor thingy to worry about. I like the scene a lot. You had previous versions but this one is best I think.
