Small sink(s) in Carrara 5 pro
Description: Modeled in wings3D, rendered in Carrara with hdr lighting. The sink on the right was my frist attempt to use partical effects - this took "a while" to set up. The water is a stream of metaspheres produced dynamically from an "emmitter" thingy. The water surface is a displacement mapped shader - another experiment of mine.

Aha! I had that version at right on my mind. The model is excellent, I like the distortion effect on the transparent "extension". Difficult for me to appreciate since I do not have experience with Carrera.

And, unfortunately, Carrera 5 Basic does not support HDRI even though the manual says it would. But it is missing from the load menu.

Hmm. I feel as though something may be missing from those tiles, they seem a bit dark, but that islikely a matter of taste. The particle effects are what really catch my eye as I know these were your "experimental" areas. I like the particle system and I like the apparent disruption of the water surface. No complaints here.

Nice render, the way the lighting is it feels as if it was outside. The tiles I agree with rashadcarter1 should have some sort of bump or displacement and specular level, the look very flat, maybe because of uniform lighting.

Pretty real in my view. I particularly like the Fresnel reflection effect on the glass-part of the left sink picture. The displacement map shader work extremely good. The distortion of the water surface seems very realistic. Less so for the waterstream, which looks too bumpy in my view. Considering this is still an "experiment", a lot of things would be changed in future maybe.
