Nirvana 2
Description: Made whit Daz Studio 1.4, Bruce 6.1, Hexagon 2.2 and Photoshop CS.

Rachadcarter1 gave me good advice (picture Mistic cult) how to avoid plastic skin look when I transfer human figure from Daz Studio to Bryce so in this picture I try to apply his advice. Result is better but not perfect (like in Daz Studio). Is anybody know better solution for this problem or we should wait that DAZ fix this problem in next version of Bryce ?

PS. Light between David eye should be ?third eye? and I put this as a sign of nirvana. Also, I put smileon David face and eyes are closed.

We know that meditating pose already. The smile on the figures face is a very nice sign of happyness. The "third eye" is an excellent addition. I like the peace the picture shows. The snake - very nice model - somehow spoils the peace. It doesn't seem to attack the meditating person, rather the viewer. And yes, the skin is better, at least at this size it looks quite good.

Wow, the skin looks alot more life-like. Definetly improved but as you mention there is still more to go. I would say that the next step is to play arond with the way the skin itself interacts with it's environment through bump and specularity settings.

No bump is necessary at this scale, but a careful specularity setting would do just the trick. To save time try these settings. In the "specular color channel use a grey color, not too bright. In the specualr halo channel use a light grey, but not too white. This will give you a dull specularity with a halo width similar to skin. Below, set the specularity to about 75%, and render. Human skin has moisture on it due to oils and perspiration and that is the effect we are after. It is very easy to overdo this aspect, so play around with it. Thanks for trying my advice.

Improved lighting from previous nirvana image certainly. The vipers teeth appear to be glowing though if this is intended or correct or otherwise - I don't know. If the ambient channel is not in use, best to turn it to full black in the sky and then no mistakes can happen. I prefered the composition of the previous scene, but every element in this scene is good, even if as Horo says, the snake seems rather threatening.
