Honestly, I'm not sure what you are after in this render. The dots on top of the left cube seem odd, like they bleed together. The rain effect over-all is interesting though I'm not sure how it all fits together. I'm often clueless in the face of obvious clarity, so it's probably just my simplicity preventing me from understanding. Either way, the image is in it's way quite compelling.

I echo Rashad's comments. I think if you would not talk about rain but just about a pattern, it would be better. Ground and background look very interesting and special but there is nothing that reminds me of rain.

Looks like a little Bryce and a lot of Photoshop filters. The dice could be a little closer to the camera. The scene is half way between an abstract and a still life, but it still needs something...

The overall effect is very pleasing, but sparse. I don't get the impression that there is any rain here. The filter used might be called "rain", but to me it looks like the scene has been converted into pen and ink work. Never the less, I like the effect very much.

The dice are better defined in this piece. I see what you may have been trying to do here. But take any advise from these guys. I am not very good at the technical stuff yet so I will leave my comments short and tell you what I see in an artistic manner.
