Majesty
Description: Image made with Volumetric Slab Cloud technique. I designed the whole scene myself including the sky, not of this is preset or downloaded. Personally I'm pretty proud of myself as the technique is not an easy one to master. But I'm really liking the results. However the realism is accompained by about a 15 hour render tag. *winces*

most realistic sky yet, if not for those volume artifacts, great job!

This is an awesome sky, no doubt! The volumetrics are great, but also your sky lab clouds are extremely good. I love the way these clouds interact with the light from the sun. You might consider a touch less in over-all color saturation, I think less may be more in that case. Clouds are very colorful in the evening, not so much in high noonish times like this scene indicates. I really love the idea of the technique and wish the clouds rendered faster. But hey, quality takes time. That's just the way it goes with Bryce.

Yes, the volume artefacts are a drawback. Nonetheless, great result!

on the second look I think you should get rid of the pink once bellow the white clouds, either that or give them a gray color

An amazing sky. Your patience has paid off with the volumentric cloud techniques. I would suggest if you wished to utilise this sky in a scene, you apply this as an image to a 2D object and incorporate it in that way.

Thanks for the compliments. Gat, I agree, pink clouds don't go well with an afternoon sky, but I don't want to give up the rosy look! Maybe I should just change the Bryce sky.

Just yesterday I was again observing clouds and I think that for realism sake less color saturation is the way to go. All this color gives the impression that the clouds are polluted, as in some contaminant must be staining those clouds. I agree that pure white is not very intereting, so you may need to play around with the saturation levels.
