A slice of cake
Description: A minor progression from the previous cake. DOF applied. And light is provided by a combination of three coloured radials (to stimulate specular response) and Horo's living-night1_amx9-corr-wb.hdr. Sprinkles clynders, smarties spheres, crumbs of smarties rocks, cream, cake and filling wings3D. The major challenge here was to make a sponge material for the sliced cake. And also some chocolatey stuff for inside - but really it was the sponge that presented the challenge here. Hope you are not bored of cake!

You're killing me David. I have 120 pounds to loose and your posting these very edible looking cakes. This is just what I need, you know? LOL

For your next trick why don't you try 'Death by Chocolate' or even my old favorite 'Tiramisu'.

This one is more convincing then the last one. The materials are superb, you really pulled it off with that spongy material, just like a real cake. mmmmm cake

hmm

Yeah, it looks great but how does it taste. I bit into the computer monitor and passed out for an hour from the electric shock. apparently it only looks real. Please post a warning next time before you tempt a man's heart with yummy chocolate cake.

Textures are awesome. Lighting also. I find myself wishing for the environment to fill in the context a bit. Perhaps a ceramic plate would be good and it would give the ibl a chance to show it's brightness. Excellent 5/5!
