No IBL this time, all lights. Using soft shadows was really a big plus, and DOF too.

Your stargate looks much better. The only thing I see that is odd is the sky? It looks like you used panoramic with the clouds, but it does'nt blend in at the top with the water coming down. I guess what I am saying is that it shows a seam. I like how you DOF came out.

I also like the way the DOF turned out. But the cone light shining down is off center. I belive you want it shining on the gate right? This is good, but the underwater version I liked better. Apply the same tweaks to your underwater version, and I think you will really like it.

It has a more underwatery feel to it and the DOF is working well. I'd suggest possibly darker fogs and hazes. And maybe get rid of the cotton wool clouds?

thanks for your comments, its kind off hard to use all of them considering that they are all a bit random, not in a bad way. But it still gives me an idea on what I need to improve. I guess some of the things I put in thrown you off.

It's a question of taste, but I liked v1 better. The main thing, the stargate, ought to stand out more prominently.
