Very well done. I like the idea and how you put it up. One could argue that the background is just a triffle too bright. I think you earned a 5/5. With all those reflecting balls, this could be a candidate to get lit by IBL. Good work - yeah, and welcome back.

I agree with Horo, background needs some work. The balls have some sort of bump map on them that make it look as if they are slightly deflated. I don't know if this is on purpose or not, but I think it would look better if they were smooth.

Nice work. Kind of reminds me of my last project. I used colored balls and swirled them. I love bright colors.

Very accomplished scene. Good lighting, bright colours, interesting set up. 5/5. As for using IBL... so long as you have Bryce 6.1 and some .hdr files. Take a look at Horo's website http://mypage.bluewin.ch/horo/index_en.html#DocTop > Raytracing > IBL/HDRI? is a good place to begin. Also check out the resources section for some free to use .hdr files to import into bryce. I strongly recomend the use of Moon Blue-Grey.hdr. This is the file you need to get into the Sky Lab IBL (or one like it) before you can do anything with the other controls that is meaningful.

You can use HDRI shop I think, but Horo would know more about that. You can also just download them of the internet.

Yep, well on your way to a photorealistic scene. The background needs consideration, but your foreground is so good that I know you can come up with something for the background. Icecreamman has cleverly noted the bumpmapping of the balls. They don't need any bump at all or if so not the one they are assigned here. Colorful and interesting. Can't wait tot see the final result.
