Silent Running
Description: This is my newest. I really like the results from Bryce 6. The screen is easier to see! I hope you give feed back. This pic I used all of my own lighting. That is probably the hardest part. This pic is supposed to be a manmade/natural city with a hovering space station. I used rock, water, steel, wood and the city map. I hope you like it.

KEWL!

I like this one a lot. It's very imaginative, a good mixture of abstract and futurisic.

I only have 2 suggestions. First, push the bump on the ground plane all the way up to give it a pronounced 3D look. Second, try a volumetric cloud plane instead of the 2D one in this image. These are just enhancements that that will give the scene a higher level of dimension, a stronger 3D Feel.

I have to give you a 3/5 for that Sky City. That's a nice concept.
:-)

Thankyou

Thanx for your advise. I am learning as I go. It's been almost a year since I have worked on my Bryce. Computer problems!! It looks like I will be keeping busy playing catch-up.

Extraordinary. It could go as something abstract and then sky and ground would not need to be worked over. Since it should depict something real/SiFi, you ought focus on what spektyr said.

Nice work on the lighting and the materials. There is definetly a feel of sci-fi. Good to see from you again.

My two pennorth of advice would be to spend some time once the scene is completed trying out a range of different skies and see what they can do. I have often found this to be a source of inspiration for taking an image forwards from a point where I'd previously decided it was done. Keep up the good work!
