Eastcoast series
Description: It is my intention to submit this scene(s) as a master series for DAZ. Of course I would like it to be "up to scratch" - I've implimented a few adjustments and created a couple of variations. Horo has kindly given me permission to use his hdr and I'm attempting to contact Frozencry so as to give him proper credit for the development of the "god rays" effect used in the central image. I will also endevour, if I am permitted, to give Bryce5.com a plug while I am at it. Please feel free to let me know if there are any futher considerations I should take into account.

.

the images are looking cool.

1 - position of the sun (IBL) is wrong compared to the clouds. Sun should be on the right side, not behind the camera (in my opinion).

2 - Those do not look like a god rays, but more like a halo affect.

3 - the background image is looking flat :(

I will try to upload or find an image of good god rays. Think '300'

The light is best on the middle one, the sky on the left one. The right one is interessting with the cliffs further away looking somehow transparent and glowing. Nice effect, not very real.

Thanks. 1 - also I've noticed if you look in the reflection you can see the edges of the sky image... oops. I'll see if I can find/photo a more suitable sky for this. At one time I was keen to avoid using images for skies, but now I reckon I've seen my share of Bryce skies and I'm ready to try something different (looking jelously at Terragen skies).

2 - I did try longer rays but it was getting a bit overwhelming for me. On balance, I think I prefer the shorter rays.

3 - Yes I'll dial back the haze a touch to reudce the "glow" and try out a different sky.
