Kaleidoscopica 2
Description: A change of object and camera positions, and of course a change in color and contrast, as usual yeilds a completely different yet equally stunning image.

I can play with this forever and get a multitude of subtle variations in different colors.

Posting a few dozen of these here wouldn't be practical so I'll just post a couple more in other colors, perhaps red and green. Eventually I'll have a web site of my own online and I'll just go nuts with stuff like this. :-)

Wow. The thumbnails don't do these images justice. The detail and contrast are difficult to appreciate until seen at full size. I really like the warmth of this scene it has the feeling of an eclipse. Very cool.

So know this is the 'antithesis' of the first kaleidoscopia: dark in the centre and bright on the outskirts. Also pleasing colours, very warm. For me, this goes less as kaleidoscope than as some sort of jewel. I know, once you have set up some mirrors, you can go on a on and on to get surprised at what you get.

This one deffinitely has a crystaline look with more of a transparency effect than reflection. I think this one is actually my favorite of the four.

Have you considered producing an animation? That would really be most appropriate given the subject matter? Once again, another beautiful image.

Thank you David.

I'm thinking of doing an animation, yes. The problem is it is liable to take quite some time to render and the file will likely be to large to post here. I can post it to the temp site I have set up when I get it done. I'll have to render it on my old Dell notebook so I won't tie up the master system here.

I'll keep you all informed.
