Very good use of atmospheric effects. I can never get the fog to cooperate. In all my years with this program it has never worked well for me not one time. I need a fog tutorial or something. I love the burned out over-exposed sky. The spikes as trees is a right of passage with bryce and for good reason, it works more or less, but only at faking coniferous trees.

Thanks, the sky is my favorite part too.

I too just learned how to use fog after two years, I never could get it to work, because for one you need to be inside of the atmosphere lab, and two it works very random. So you need to play with the settings, but once you get it to work it is very nice.

But they are faked beautifully. I like those fir trees. Excellent use of fog, something I'm at least as good as Rashad to get it right. I think there's just a bit of a focus missing - perhaps a castle on the hill at right? I like this one very much.

Terrain trees. Yes. When playing with this effect I found they looked better semi transparent (but that plays havoc with the render time) your solution to bury the base of the trees in fog is excellent - good thinking!
