Very very nice work. Everything fits. As there is little direct sunlight this scene is all about indirect lighting. If you have used ambient you have used it well, as nothing glows enough to draw attention to itself. I think you may have used secondary lights or hdr, please let me know. The horizon line has been filled in nicely but it looks like a postwork effect. Nice none the less.

The sky is just fine by bryce standards. Very nice colors. The sky is the only part that feels like bryce to me. I have no idea of how to improve it. The trick is to find any way possible to break up the inevitable flatness of bryce skylab clouds.

There's no post whatsoever and only one light, the sunlight.
The groundplane is made out of 3 planes, inwitch 2 are semi-transparent.
I'm not sure i know what HDR is, is it available in bryce5?
thanks

You would need Bryce5.5 at least for a simplistic hdr, but Bryce6 would be best. I like the lighting. Your ambient choices are subtle and in no way overpowering. I like the real photo in the distance, it legitimizes the entire scene alot for me.

Excellent sky, fits the scene well - but as Rashad observed, says "bryce". However, it is difficult to find an alternative that fits. You've blended the elements in this scene well and the lighting looks good. As for hdr. You need Bryce 6.1 - it is not available in 5.5. It does exist in 6.0 but is somewhat broken and since the upgrade from 6.0 to 6.1 is free, there would be little point in bothering with 6.0.
