Afternoon by the Pool revised 1
Description: This is the last one, I promise. After discussing the shadows in the previous versions I decided to render the scene again but this time with my secondary lights a bit more intense, and also colored the exact same color as my sky. The shadows don't seem much different to me from this angle, just as David describes, the eye darkens the shadows in scene like this, The effect of the secondaries is much more pronounced and impressive in the other scene. Still, I think this version is even closer to realism.

Oh yes, definitely more natural. I've checked all three side-by-side and this one is the best. The clouds disappeared, but the sky is natural as it is. A cloudless hot day at the pool. Absolutely convincing.

thanks Horo

I'm really fortunate with this one that it renders really fast even with trillions of transparent leaves. When I get a better computer I'm likely to do just one more but with IBL. But for now I don't dare attempt it with that gigantic pool full of transparency and plants.

Yes, the lighting here is very natural, clearly it could be more "realistic" but I'm at a loss to suggest anything in particualr. Very difficult to find any weakness from a technical perspective here. Greens a bit too green maybe... no? I'm clutching at straws you can see.
