Moon
Description: This is just a short study. What is my problem is that I cannot make the moon brighter and white, like Freyr did in his work of art "guarding in the night". Can someone help me to make the moon white and brighter?

There are a number of approaches you could take. One would be to take all atmospheric effects out of the sky and lift the moon away from the horizon, then snip it out and paste it in post. The moon, like the stars, can not be made bright enough through their settings on a lot of occasions - so cheating is necessary. Another approach you could take would be to create a generally dark scene, with a dim moon (as shown) and then boost the contrast in post work, or use a gamma compression tool like Fade Correction found in Paint Shop Pro. Or... forget the bryce moon and use a sphere with a moon materail mapped onto it, set the ambient high and the ambient response of the material hight - to make it glow. Be careful if you take this tack, to make sure there are not other materials around with ambient set also, otherwise they will glow too - and that might not be what is wanted in a night scene. There you go, there's a couple a three things to try.
