Limbo
Limbo

Limbo
Description: The ?Odd World 11? object is from DAZ3D (see Sealife by David, the centre spiked tube). The object was set to a mirror and the camera put inside. On both open ends there is a coloured radial (red and green) and the Woolball HDRI is rendered as background. The white and blue lights come from the light probe.

I use the word ?Limbo? in the definition of ?an imaginary place for the lost?. After all, it's difficult to find the way out.

Excellent effect here, Horo! Cave or a weird nest, I'm not sure what is more close to your render. The Red and the Greed merge nicely together. Maybe because of the reflected hdri but I can almost see those forms changing, morphing over time. Is the Woolball one of your own probes?

Yes richter, Woolball is yet another one of mine. I have created quite a couple, mostly for test purposes. Since 6.1 is now out, I consider to publish some of them on my website in the not distant future.

Thanks for your comment. What I like most here is the 3D effect.

Reminds me of something out of Aliens, the organic materal secreted by the creatures, which was also quite slimy. The effect you have here is perhaps a little more reminicent of looking inside a cave lined with tin foil or peering inside an empty packet of crisps. It's created a facniating image and my ownly critical comment would be that I don't like the choice of yellow for the branding - it seems to clash with the green. Otherwise, faultless.
