nice

This scene has a very nice quality to it. I like the lighting. I like the fact that you have no cheesy ambient expressed materials running around, because no ambient is the first step in the right direction. The next step with lighting is to now explore secondary lighting sources. These are super super weak light sources carefully positioned within your scene to represent the indirect light that is bouncing around from surfaces and atmospheric effects within the scene. It's the idea of ambient, but from a lighting standpoint instead of a materials "glow" standpoint. It's more genuine and realistic. These light sources would lift the shadows slightly as well as show off the contours or shapes of the models within those shadows adding more depth and realism to the scene.
Great water surface. Very dark water.

Now, I like this one. The clouds look flat and 2D, something that happens with my skies also at times. Though I generally agree with what Rashad said, I like the way it is lit. Looks like at the time of sunset. If the water had some transparency, we could see a bit below the surface in the foreground. The colour is good, though.

Nice. I though maybe sunrise rather than sunset, first rays of the sun picking out this rather interesting scene. I like the colours and the choice of sparse elements. The brown brickwork material works well against the blues in the sky.
