Sentinal Front(first concept design 4 years ago)
Description: This is what I call a Sentinal. It uses liquid metal to manipulate objects. It is 30 feet long by around 15-18 feet wide and tall.

So I would say now take it, and put a reference near it. Lets say put a human next to it or something. Looks very cool though :)

The object is indeed very cool. Pity, it is not presented here to show its full potential. How about workimg a bit on the sky, ground and camera position?

Both Nightst4r and Horo make good points. If you wish to make your model appear large then a point of reference helps, remember to consider the view point of the camera, if you treat that as the eye of a potential observer, then place the camera at aproximately head hight (using the dimensions of your model to work out your scale) above the ground on which your hyperthetical observer is standing. If this forces the camera to be looking up at the model, then so be it, that is a good way to give an impression of scale. Other things to consider is the FOV of the camera itself, a wider FOV with the viewer placed close to "the large object" will create distortion which can work in the favour of making things appear "massive". I like the concept so far, but to add a bit of interest, could it be shown manipulating an object with it's liquid metal? That sounds really interesting.

model

4 years ago? Nice boolean work. I think the point you mean to make with this submission is with the model itself, which so far looks good. The environment is an entirely different issue. Have you ever done a full scene with this model? You designed this many years ago but there is no guarantee that you have kept using bryce since then. If you are just returning to bryce, feel free to "place" this model into an actual "situation," as the model is indeed ready. If you have already set it in scenes, I would like to see one. I look forward to more on this subject.

thanks

Yeah my point was more to show off just the model and I've kept up with bryce i just wanna take it slow and allow each progressive work to get assessed....as for a person....I have been tinkering with wings 3d but my current budget prevents me from expanding my software palette past those two programs....and I haven't gotten that good yet....I'm also having trouble with creating unique textures but thank you all for the feedback I hope to progress and I'm looking forward to hearing more about my work. : )
