Eastern King
Description: The "Eastern King" was rendered in Terragen and after that the sky, the moon and the stars were hand-painted in Photoshop in additional layers. I believe the Sun shows us all its might when rising at dawn, covering the land with life-giving/taking "nuances" of light. I tried to recreate the atmosphere for you and I really hope you'll like it.

I like!

There's a very good sense of an atmosphere here. The composition is very nice also. The cloud layering us very interesting in that at some point it functions flawlessly and at other points not so much. I think the "clouds" just above the sun are so steep that they look like distant mountain peaks, not really clouds. Then seeing the sun come from beneath a mountain strikes ma as odd. I think that if those clouds were less tall, more stretch out like the ones near the top of the image, the effect would blend flawlessly. I just love the intense brightness of that sun!

It is indeed difficult to say where mountains end and clouds begin. Nevertheless, it is a great picture. The sun is really stealing the show for everything else. Intensity, colour and rays are excellent. The moon and the stars are a nice detail. Yes, I do like it.

Thanks, guys! Nice to see you liked that img. I'm a bit more in a 3D then 2D art. The two-dimensional way of creating images is still quite "unexplored" for me. Eratia and Eastern King were the first steps, I'll keep on going and do my best.
