accidents working in your favor

Somehow the over-all impression works. I have no problem forgiving the bad cutting. In the end it looks like you cut it badly intentionally, and anything you do intentionally is fine. As viewers we take it as we see it and accept everything as relevent. The glowing water is very pleasing as it seems to light the scene from below, a nice inversion. Excellent colors. Very fantasy.

There is no requirement to make things "real", as long as what you get is what you intend, then I agree, there is nothing wrong with that. It is always worth expermenting, it really is the only way to get better.
