a couple of thoughts

The sky you are using has alot of potential. Try raising the cloud height and perhaps lowering the frequency to keep more or less the same regularity but with a greater height. Also try making the clouds spherical which is another option in the sky/cloud lab. For my tastes bryce tends to produce somewhat flat clouds so higher cloud heights correct this a little bit.

Continue experimenting with materials as you have here. You will find better ones in time. Is that water or a cloud plane representing a mist effect? I think it's water. In the create screen, click and hold the mouse for a sec to see the option box of surface or volume. Choose volume. bryce will create a purple colored thing called a slab with a random water texture. Choose "water" from under "glasses" in the materials lab. Maybe give the water only 90% transparency with a refraction of 133 and a touch of blue in the diffusion color channel and the volume color channel. Set diffusion to 10 or less. Set specularity color channel to white and the spec halo channel to ALMOST white. Set specularity to 100%. Assign a bump such as waves2 in the DTE. Let me know how you like that. Also play around with terrain resolutions, as bryce can produce smoother less angular mountains.

Keep it up!

Good start. Use higher resolution terrains. As for the green part: if you wanted it to look like trees, put a terrain with spikes underneath. If it is a mountain, then it shouldn't be green. On such steep slopes, you won't find much vegetation (neither snow, by the way). As it stands, I'm not sure the sky needs much attention. If more of it was visible, then definitly yes. Water can also be made plausible without a slab. Most important thing is transparency.

Chill Day

The version you posted on your homepage at deviantart is superior to this one, especially in terms of the water. I enjoyed seeing your other scenes also, cool atmospheric effects. Hope to see more posts from you.
