If some pipe here needs to be fixed from damage, rust or alike well... seems impossible. Nice going with the reflective material. It is a bit strange with all those branches/pipes around but I think the img still needs someting. Just don't know exactly what...hm.

environement

The model is great. The environement though, is not helping me to understand the image. If I had a clearer sense of where this scenario was occuring I might be able to appreciate it more. I like the brightness alot, as it feels like sunlight. The ambient or diffusion may be overdone slightly for my tastes. I'm missing the cold hardness ofreal metal. These "pipes" are a shortcut to scaffolding. In fact they look more like scaffolding to me than pipes. I can see a city in the background with some badly dressed laborers on 60 stories of scaffolding drinking coffee and donuts and hidden vodka shots. I'm in New York, so it's easy for me to imagine it.

Pipes are very good, but the atmosphere doesn't look very appealing. Pipes are also a bit too reflective for my tastes, though the spheres are fine.

Thanks for your comments, guys. You are absolutely right. It is a bit on the cheap side. I'm so wrapped up at the moment with other things that I couldn't pay enough attention to it. Since I was heavy in trees a while ago, I was so intrigued by Davids Souls that I just had to do something with it. The trees do intersect and there is more than one possibility to use such trees. A space scene, perhaps...

Finding new ways to use the existing tools and presets is one of the most fun aspects of playing with Bryce for me. I'm pleased to see that I am not alone in appreciating this aspect of working within and around the limitations of what we are presented with. Interesting, if garish, but you never know where such an experiment will lead... into space? I hope so.
