It's some time since I uploaded anything.. Here is an oil platform, based on Norwegian Statfjord concrete platforms. Rendered in Vue - I'm still getting "feel" of the buttons and sliders. Platform modelled in Wings - I definitely prefer that way than playing with Vue's (or Bryce's) primitives
Ah-h-h, you've discovered Vue. Which version are you using? As a Vue artist myself, I'd reccomend you try to master the atmospheres and lighting before anything else. Modeling is very good, well done. For some good (if slightly advanced) tutorials, I'd reccomend www.thomaskrahn.com or www.paroge.com/vde/index.htm .

so far so good
The modeling is terrific as LitoNico said. The environmental choices you have made could be more effective. If you are new to Vue, then there's no need to go into criticsm of the environment. The materials used for the Oil platform are glowing like ambient expression in Bryce materials. It's not just their neon color or the most likely blue light you put on them, but they just don't look right to me. Are you going for realism? If so, then the materials and lighting choices will need to be more genuine.
