City by the sea
Description: This scene uses two 3D models and everything else is 100% Bryce... with dozens of blocks, pyramids and other things to create variety in the forms. I tried to focus the lighting from the street level to create a twilight effect Hope you like it.

I like it alot!

Um, that sky you have created is great! The reflection in the silverish ball is amazing! I would raise the cloud height and adjust the cloud regularity to remain consistent with what you have now. They will appear less flat at a greater height. I love the lighting. Some of the buildings in gold actually look real to me!!! The scene has a nice range of color contrast from light to true black. It may be new to the eye of some viewers, but the blackness is a good thing, as we can always trace the light illuminating the buildings to a real direction of radiance which is very 3d. If no light touches something, it will remain in darkness. This is more "true" than being afraid of shadows and applying ambient expression to everything. This scene is more realistic to me than your Bird's Eye View scenes from before, as you have given ambient expression more careful consideration and you have used it more appropriately. I can't believe I'm saying this, but raising the haze effect will help the scene, as it will brighten those shadows just enough, or just as the real atmosphere spreads light and a sense of "ambient" to objects without overdoing it as any amount of ambient expression in the materials would. You make gold buildings look like real photos. bravo!

The city looks very good. The lighting is natural, too. rashadcarter1 said almost all already. The sky appears very flat to me and I miss something in the background, beyond the city. If that is the sea, it seems just not enough to me. This is not to critisize your good work. I just think sky and background are not up to all the work that went into the city. The mirror dome is a very good idea.
