A novice you may be, but you clearly have a professional's patience. Booleans are not easy to work with sometimes, that is if you used booleans at all which I think you did. Keep it up for sure. Nice purple haze obscuring the ground plane if there is one. Also nice risk taking with the choice of colors, as I am a believer in color. Is there a pink ambient expression applied to the gold?

yes i work with booleans and i work one week for the ship, but i click several times on randomize sky&flog to have a result which I like. there is no special expression applied directly to gold.

Yes I see now that the pink on the gold is the result of an invisible pink light source associated with the laser beam, probably a radial light.
You have put so much work into the ship, I think now you can start looking at the environment. This model will look good no matter where you put it. Since you like this particular sky, maybe you could play around with the controls to see how each control effects the outcome. The sky lab is less tricky than booleans in my opinion. If you can handle this many booleans, you can handle anything!

Great boolean work. I envy people with that kind of patience. Beautiful ?kandy-kolored tangerine-flake streamline baby? (after a novel by Tom Wolfe). Yes, have a look at the environment to shoot this up to top marks. The SkyLab is less tricky than booleans - but also less predictable.

Very cute one! I like it! Rashad is right. No matter where you will put it, it will look great. I see you tweaked a few light lab options too with those beams and the engine in the back part. Yup, keep on going!

the model is great. I have a lot of starship created with Bryce but I can export only OBP format. That is on of my starship: http://www.urhajo.tvn.hu/download/eagle.zip
Looks like the Millenium Falcon almost, created in Bryce.
