Looks terribly alcoholic and volitile. Yet another self-imposed Wings challenge, this time to make an accurate model of one of my water glasses. Also a lighting experiment, I wanted to see if I could get good-quality studio lighting with only a few lights and little render time. I got the lights- only five- but this image took 7 days to render. Material inside the glass is the "pan galactic gargle blaster", but with a little added fizz on the top.
Zaphod would like it. I can't find anything to improve upon - it's perfect. Great job, Lito!

Absolutely positively perfect. Great modeling and a splendidly executed render. 7 days of rendering with only 5 lights was daunting but clearly worth every second. Amazing! 5/5

Looks highly convinceing, the light on the glass is very good, I'm not sure about the shadow though, I'd have expected to see more refraction at work - but this is more an issue with the render process itself than with your setup. 5/5

it's just a small but excellent object that you've renderd

LitoNico hits the spot! The lighting wins you even higher score of 6/5. Incredible! The model looks very successfull, the texture is more than great and the refraction is the thing which makes this piece Real!

Really like the texture of the glass, the reflection,
caustics, etc. Who needs Maxwell Renderer???
Only suggestion is the surface of the drink is
washed out....would be perfect if I could see
an icecube or 2 in it, with subtle ripples on the
liquid, and some "sweat" on the glass.
