Hidden Oasis
Description: Another imaginary planet landscape I've been working on lately. It was a result of almost uninterrupted 24h work, render time included. Terragen, Bryce and Pshop used (successfully I hope :). Well, have fun guys.

Excellent. Water is woderful, good terrain, nice composition, the planet in the sky is good and dramatic. Small quibble with the stars, some of them have four points? They should have five shouldn't they? Other than that, no hesitation to give 5/5

five points?... what is this preschool? [Just kidding] I profer the 4 star, they add a kinda wishy star feel to the image. But I notice most though is the great job on the water... the planet in the background kinda draws the eye away. 5/5 here too.

The water is extraordinary, particularly the foam in the foreground. The harsh light with the hard shadows fit the ragged landscape. I like the greyish sky and think the stars are good. My qualm is at the Saturn-like ringed planet. Just grey isn't enough. A hue of blue, perhaps like Neptune, or a bit greenish like Uranus. Not necessarily brown and orange like Saturn itself. Landscape and water in TerraGen, Sky in Bryce?

Thanks! When I was a little kid, I used to read books with space illustrations with similar 4-pointed stars. This way, I remember, they had this fairy-tale look just as the author was writing about in his book.

The main TG render consist of all you see here without the stars and the planet. They are Bryce rends. Sky along with the clouds is fully TG. I used the blur tool from Pshop to paint some parts of them (clouds) fuzzy and more real. Pshop also helped with the making of the 4-pointed stars, with the placing of "Saturn" and... something else:) Did someone noticed the Waterfall in the mid left :)
