Description: Cubic panoramas are best for inside scenes, cylindric ones for outdoor scenes. I tried to setup a landscape for a cubic panorama. It cannot be shown here so I have the flat cylindric render here. The buck is from DAZ, the second buck and the birds in the sky can be seen on my website.

Good choice of colours, very fresh, reminds me of the lush scenes of Far Cry without the threat of being ripped to bits by mutants at any moment. Maybe the trees look a little dark compaired with their shadows? Interesting to see all these panoramic images cropping up. I'm going to your website right now to look at the cubic projection!

Well worth a look!

It is in there but I found the linking is a bit weird with Horo's site. But perservere and take a look the effect of the conversion takes out all the weird distortion and corrects the perspecive. I wonder of there could be a space for these "cubic" .mov's to be displayed on this site or would the file size be prohibitive?

The tutorial on the site to make the cubics is very easy to follow too!

Perhaps, as David said, darken the shadows a bit. The buck doesn't even seem to have a shadow from this distance. The sky is quite realistic for late spring, but the clouds sould either be made larger or reduced in number. There are to many and they are too uniform. If I can get my computer up and running, I might have to try these cubic projections myself.

Thanks everyone for your comments. The trees could do with a bit more light, I do agree. I'm sorry about the complicated links on my site. That's one of the caveats when using frames.
