Black Rock
Description: Here, David's ?Combers? material has been more appropriately applied to a terrain. The material on the rocks is another one I peer-reviewed for David: Advanced shale (slightly adapted). The sky is the result of my own labours.
David's materials are very elaborate and not easy to use for novices, that's probably why DAZ didn't include them.

The black rock really has turned out a treat! As has indeed the water, although I might have added a bit more reflection to the mat... or maybe toyed with tranparency at the risk of increasing the render time. The sky is very foreboding - well done!

Beautiful. Where do you get David's unrealeased materials? Your sky is amazing, and the lighting is even better. The water, however, looks pretty solid. Perhaps, as David has said, add a little transparency? If it's already fairly transparent, I'd try putting some medium-power radial lights under the surface.

This time the sky I see is much, much more convincing. Oh...and that water! Quite a storm! Appart from the other two comments I'll say that I like it the way it is. Well, I see that shadow which the tide is causing right in the middle. May be you should blur it somehow... or maybe the transparency is the answer. Don't know. Also you have a very realistic rock in front and it looks that real wet as if one of the big waves just passed through.

Hateful, that dark rectangular shadow on the water. I have no idea wher that came from. I've noticed it long after I posted the pic.
