Co Robią..
Description: TITLE: What Fantasy Heroes Do, When Not Fighting Eternal Evil - part I: Pecunia

STORY: Vitomir, a talented wizard is performing his most advanced spell: 'compressing' several goblets of (never mind) into golden coins. Suddenly somebody ignorant (behind camera) said loudly: For the first time in his career Vitomir lost his focus when performing a spell - The fractal effect over the altar is a sign, that spell has failed. - And it is going to explode..

CONTEXT: Old king Ventzeslav - owner of the land, where ancient Philosophers' Shrine was placed, met once Vitomir - only wizard capable of using it. That was the beginning of "V&V Goldmakers" JSC. - first industry corporation of the world. It's also (despite big prospects) one of the fastest bancruptcy of the world.

TECHNICAL REMARKS: Fractals in 3D space, Ghost materials vs sky setting, 'Crossbreeding' of 3D characters, 3D grass in foreground and Modelling non-terrain with terrain editor were subjects of my experiments in this scene.
This is one of my 'neverending' projects that lasted for several months - there was always something to add.. So it's grown pretty overloaded: 8978 objects, 467Mb file (some 2Gb of WIP/aux files). Rendertime: (standart settings) 4days, 21hrs (mostly for AntiAliasing). No postwork except for signature.

CREDITS: PDXJim, Valandar, Kozaburo, OMEGA, 12rounds.
Thx

Amazingly rich. Even though it looks a bit overladden, this fits the story. Very interesting objects, particularly the wireframe thing. A queer mix of abstracts and real things. This is an excellent piece of work, impressiv. 5/5 from me.

Impressive complexity in every respect, but too much for my taste, it's complex to the point where the impact is being diluted by the sheer volume of things going on in this scene, less would be more, I think there is a better picture to be made from this with only a very light tweeking of the contents. Perhaps consider more focused lighting set up so that much of the detail fall into "hinted at" shadow regions while the figures are highlighted. Lower the prominence of things like the grass which is a little acidic in it greeness and large of blade. Little things. But like I said, impressive in spite of my quibbling.
